From a live performance by Mahmoud El Esseily to glitter face painting, Marassi is going all out this Friday with a carnival from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.



So instead of just sunbathing by the beach, why not do it with glitter on your face, music in your ears and an acrobatics show for entertainment!

For all you jazz fans looking to kick-start Eid with some nostalgia, head straight to the Salt Beach & Restobar on Aug. 17 at 11:30 p.m. and enjoy the night ahead of you with great music and a definite better weather forecast than Cairo.



‘Run to Eid’ by Active Go

Instead of spending Eid shopping or relaxing by the beach, put those running shoes on and go for a family run.



This 5-kilometer run that will take place in Maadi on Aug. 17 needs you to be an early riser because the meeting point is in front of Family Cinema at 7 a.m. For those of you who want to participate but aren’t used to doing sports regularly, there will be a fitness exercise before the run to get everyone started.

Pre-Eid Bazaar at Tivoli Dome

Feel more like shopping, redecorating your house and perhaps introducing your jewelry box to a new pair of earrings?



Tivoli Dome in Heliopolis will be holding a pre-Eid bazaar hosted by Egy Bazaar, alongside a festival and performance, with loads of jewelry to choose from on display, starting Aug. 16 to Aug. 17.
