CAIRO - 28 January 2018: For centuries it has been known that oils hold the power to heal, nourish and enhance our skin. These botanical extracts are highly concentrated and are rich in antioxidants, antimicrobial, and anti-inflammatory factors that help you glow from within. Unlike normal oils, essential oils are so powerful that they have to be diluted with carrier oils such as olive oil or castor oil or even shea butter. Jojoba Oil :
The closest thing out there in texture and use to our skin’s naturally produced sebum. It was used by Native Americans years ago to treat bruises and sores. As it i’s a carrier oil with the same benefits as essential oils; it can be used alone without dilution. It’s been known to be used to treat acne, sunburns, psoriasis, and chapped skin. Jojoba oil can also be used to moisturize your skin, remove wrinkles and even remove makeup. It i’s also quite notorious well known for balancing out the oil production in your skin; thus, removing blackheads.
Rosehip Oil :
Rosehip oil, also known as Rosehip seed oil, is full of essential fatty acids, vitamins and antioxidants that are extremely beneficial for healthy skin. It’s known for repairing sun damage, removing fine lines, stimulating collagen and correcting dark spots, which makes it great for aging skin. Rosehip oil can also be used to boost your immune system. Best results are obtained when diluted.
Sesame Oil :
Although commonly used to season food, sesame oil actually has extraordinary properties that can elevate your skin. A carrier for other essential oils properties, it can be directly on the skin. It’s also utilized to treat alopecia, psoriasis, and eczema. It is used for treating burns and removing its scars, preventing stretch marks and under eye brightening.
Lavender Oil :
Aside from its therapeutic properties, lavender oil is exceptionally good at reducing the rate at which the skin ages, fighting acne and relieving any inflammation, pain or stress. Its light and relieving consistency allows it to be applied directly to the skin without dilution.
Tea tree Oil :
Also known as melaleuca oil or ti tree oil, Tea tree oil is a strong essential that can be used to soothe chicken pox, remove makeup, aid in acne prevention, and fade scars. It is best used diluted in a carrier oil.
