CAIRO – 29 November 2017: Starting fashion trends on and off the big screen, Shadia is truly one of Egypt’s most fashionable first ladies of film that we will ever see in our lifetime. Having graced the sets of movies such as “Wife 13”, “Maboudet El Gamaheer” (Audience’s Sweetheart), and her last film “La Tasa’lny Men Ana” (Don’t Ask Me Who I Am). She set the bar for women in Egypt and the Middle East by showing them what to wear, how to wear it and where to wear it, for generations to come.
Shirt dresses, knee-length flared skirts, dresses and body-con dresses that showed off her amazing hourglass figure, shoulder cutouts that revealed her femininity, and curves. She often mixed colors with hair and neck scarfs as an accessory that always seemed to complete her looks with a finishing touch of mystery and elegance.
Today, her influence can be seen in how we dress. In honor of her contribution to fashion, we have gathered some of her best fashion moments from the big screen.
