CAIRO – 29 November 2017: The people’s idol, legendary singer and actress Shadia graced the big screen for over five decades. The actress/singer was continuously setting beauty trends in Egypt and the Middle East while always staying true to herself and never losing her identity before her retirement in the mid 1980s.
From short boy cuts to long teased volumized hair that was full of personality, Shadia was one of the first to introduce bangs (fringe) and the teased beehive up-do to Egyptians on the big screen. She was always looking gorgeous with a minimal amount of makeup that she never really needed.
We have gathered some of her best hair and beauty moments from the big screen in honor of her contributions to Egyptian fashion.
