CAIRO – 11 November 2017: Sometimes all you need is a simple music player on your phone that is light, easy to use and does not seem complicated. If that is what you are looking for, then Google Play Music is the app for you.
Google Play Music works as a normal efficient music player application, with a simple system that allows you to create playlists and divides your music by genre, artist, albums and songs.
Even though the application is a practical default player, it proved itself a worthy competitor of the biggest music apps, such as Spotify, through the features it offers to those who subscribe with a monthly fee, including the ability to explore millions of tracks, which are filtered according to time of release, genre or even mood.

Subscribers can also download music to listen to offline, or sign up for a "family plan", which gives access to a group of people for a special price. The application also gives its subscribers the option to upload up to 50,000 tracks of their own music, enabling them to create their own online music library, which means it does not matter which device they use, they will always have their music.
Google Play Music might have scored its one billionth download through being installed by default on some of the Android devices, but it definitely earned it's 1.7 million five-star ratings on the Google Play Store, and a 4+ rating on the Apple Store. However, without paid subscription, the application is just the same as any other default music player.
