Fresh Food at the "Slow Downtown: Farm to Fork Menu & Market"

CAIRO – 29 October 2017: Downtown Cairo’s dining and coffee hotspot Eish & Malh has partnered up with convivial Slow Food Cairo to bring you from the farm-to-table produce at the "Slow Downtown: Farm to Fork Menu & Market” held on November 3.

Eish & Malh chefs will create a menu made from free local seasonal produce. The menu will be available from 8:00 a.m. till midnight offering breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Slow Downtown market will run from 11:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m. in order for you to grape local fresh produce in support of local farmers to take home for the whole family to enjoy. Entertainment will include live music and a Marionette show for children.


The Slow Food Cairo organization hosts many different events in four different cities in Egypt: Cairo, Alexandria, Fayoum, South Sinai to promote healthy, fresh and local products supporting local farmers worldwide with over 100,000 members.

Eish & Malh is Downtown Cairo’s go-to spot for Italian Cuisine with a menu full of fresh pizza, meat, fish, home-made pasts, breakfast and dessert. They also host many different events includinh live music performances, movie nights and much more.
Slow Downtown is a monthly event held at Eish & Malh every first Friday of the month.
