Friedrich Nietzsche, the known famous 19th century German philosopher, was born on October 15, 1844, and passed away on August 25, 1900.
He started his career as a classical philologist before turning to philosophy. At the age of 24, he became the youngest ever to hold the Chair of Classical Philology at the University of Basel.
He is famous for his criticisms of traditional European morality and religion, conventional philosophical ideas, and social and political pieties associated with modernity.
