Ingredients
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups flour
1 1/2 tsps cinnamon
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
Icing, to decorate
Method
1. Cream sugar and butter. Beat in egg and vanilla and fold in dry ingredients.
2. Cover and refrigerate 2 hours or until firm enough to roll into balls. Shape dough into small pieces and press down into greased star-shaped molds.
3. Bake in a medium to high oven 10 minutes or until the edges are lightly browned. Cool on a wire rack before decorating with icing.
