CAIRO - 8 October 2017: Vivian Moawad has opened her first Cairo boutique on October 3rd in Zamalek, Cairo. The light cocktail opening event was attended by influencers, celebrities, and the media. Being a lover of asymmetry Moawad’s boutique walls were draped with tulle and lace curtain giving it a French Renaissance twist.
Moawad is a couture designer who was born and raised in Alexandria, Egypt. Being exposed to the international culture of fashion from an early age Moawad went on to study Business Finance from Cardiff University in England. Then decided to follow her passion and enrolled in Instituto Marangoni from which she graduated and founded her brand in the summer of 2015.
Her designs focus on empowering and displaying the beauty of women; her favorite colors are black and white, and that is shown in most of her designs.
At the Zamalek boutique, you can expect to find Moawad’s Autumn/Winter 2017 collection, which was inspired by “Moulin Rouge,” expect a frenzy of lace, satin and feathers with frills, sparkling embellishments and lots of sequins.
They also are showcasing her bridal capsule collection; which has a contemporary princess style and is made of the finest tulle and lace.
