The American actor Matt Damon was born on October 8, 1970. Damon was studying English at Harvard but left early to pursue his acting career. He made his big screen debut at the age of 18 in “Mystic Pizza.” In 1997, his main roles were in the films “The Rainmaker”, "Jason Bourn" and “Good Will Hunting.”

Having co-written it with Ben Affleck, Damon won an Oscar in 1998 for Best Original Screenplay in “Good Will Hunting.”

People Magazine named him the sexiest man Alive in 2007 and he was awarded a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame in the same year. In 2013, Damon was awarded the “Harvard Arts Medal.”
