Gruffudd, the British actor, was born on October 6, 1973. He first began his acting career at the age of 13 in the Welsh television film “Austin”.
He stared in the Welsh soap opera named “Pobol y Cwm" from 1987 to 1994. He attended the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
He is known for his two major roles in; Harold Lowe in the super hit romantic movie “Titanic” and of Lt John Beales in the war film “Black Hawk Down.”
