An Elle beauty experience

Cairo – 03 October 2017: There is no better way to spend your Friday afternoon than at the salon getting pampered after a long and hectic week at work. I headed over to Elle Salon at the Rivulet in 6th of October City to try it out so you know exactly what to expect.

According to Elle’s Facebook page, they offer luxurious services that include hairstyling, hair coloring and treatments, manicures and pedicures.

As I walked into the salon, I was welcomed by the store manager. I stole a look at the salon as he asked me what I wanted to have done today and saw it brimming with beautiful ladies all getting pampered. The salon has a relaxing atmosphere with the beautiful classic chic interior.

I wanted to get my hair styled, as well as a manicure and pedicure. I have naturally curly hair that I have worked hard for several years now to become comfortable and confident in, so at no time soon am I willing to straighten it. Having silky smooth hair just does not give me life anymore. I need big, almost afro-like curls. It must have something to do with me being a Leo, as the stylist pointed out.

The manicure and pedicure was the ultimate relaxation treatment. I just let go completely to the point where I let the manicurist choose the nail color. She showed me three options and we both agreed on the perfect shade of purple.

She then began to shape my nails and remove the cuticles, followed by a heavenly balm massage that I will definitely be back for.
