Et Home: Top picks for the week

CAIRO - 19 September 2017: We all love being at home, lounging on pudgy couches, covered with our soft, light quilts. Since being at home is the only comfort one finds, we are looking at the companies whose values are solely about making these homes even more comfortable and stylish.

Here is a list of four brands that makes our life comfortable and fashionable at the same time:

1. Ikea: They are a values-driven company with a passion for life at home. They make home a better place through every product and idea they create. Ikea has around 315 stores in 27 countries, one of them is Egypt.



2. Inca & Co: In 2015, they started with more than 300 home fabric designs suitable for indoor and outdoor settings, and the materials they used in the fabrics were linen, cotton, viscose and rayon, which were mainly digitally printed in Egypt. They do not only produce fabrics; they also produce cushions, pillows as well as handmade poufs and stools. In 2016, they opened their second store in downtown Katameya.

3. Kalla: Kalla Home Fashions was founded by Alia El Naggar and Alia El Zayat in 2003. It is a family owned business. Kalla provides a collection of hip contemporary home accessories as well as indoor and outdoor furniture.

4. Versace Home: Gianni Versace has always been interested not only in fashion, but also in design and art, such as theater, dance, painting and sculpture. Their home collection was a natural extension of Versace’s interest. She started with a textile collection in 1992, and in 1994 produced full home products.
