CAIRO - 19 September 2017: “There's always going to be someone out there... who doesn't believe in you or who thinks your head is too big or you're not smart enough. But those are the people you need to ignore, and those are the times you need to just keep doing what you love doing.”- Jimmy Fallon.
Fallon is a stand-up comedian, actor, and TV presenter of the “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.” He was born on September 19, 1974. On May 9, 2009, he received his BA in Communications from the College of Saint Rose.
Fallon’s first TV appearance was in 1994, in a show called “Metroland's Loose Camera,” which is a local sketch comedy show on Fox. He landed his dream job in 1998 in “Saturday Night Live;” then left in 2004, and five years later he began his own show, “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.” In April 2013, he announced that he would take over Jay Leno’s show.
Fun Facts:
● His full name is James Thomas Fallon Jr.
● At an early age he showed interest in becoming a comedian. In fact, his kindergarten photo included the caption: "Most likely to take over for David Letterman." The irony is that Fallon and Letterman sat together in June 2003.
● He was a computer science major, but he dropped out and got his degree in Communications in 2009.
Another Quote for the road:
“Listening is more important than talking. Just hit your mark and believe what you say. Just listen to people and react to what they are saying.”
