CAIRO – 16 September 2017: The era of social media’s daily stories may have begun with Snapchat, but it was surely overrun by the Instagram version, as the latter’s stories were able to gain 250 million active users every day, almost a hundred million more than all the users of Snapchat’s 166 million, according to itpliveme.com.
While other clone versions of Snapchat's daily stories, whether on Facebook or WhatsApp, were not as much of a popular hit, there is a possibility that Instagram is testing a feature that would enable users to share their stories on Facebook.
This was discovered by Matt Navarra, director of social media at Next Web, who noticed and quickly reported the feature to his Twitter followers on Tuesday:
If this feature becomes available soon, Instagram stories will probably gain more users and popularity.
