CAIRO – 14 September 2017: Rihanna the fashion icon and singing sensation is now a makeup guru after the launch of her makeup line Fenty Beauty.
Nowadays we see celebrities creating and endorsing makeup brands for the mere reason of seeking attention. But not all publicity is good publicity.
Did recent celebrity makeup brands ever think about how their makeup range will make a difference to our makeup bags? Will we benefit from their brushes or makeup sponges? Will we want to convert and be religious users of their products? Will it hurt our pockets? (Makeup is not cheap especially the fancy kind). How pigmented will the highlighter be? These are just a few questions I ask myself when I find new makeup brands.
To say that I was excited when I first laid my eyes on the teaser Rihanna posted on her Instagram account would be an understatement.
The line includes just a couple of foundation shades; 40 to be exact. Riri knows how hard it is for a black girl to find her shade in the foundation so she got your back all of you bold beautiful black girls.

Even the online beauty community loves the line so much they posted videos on their YouTube channels praising the line and comparing it to the other recent celebrity beauty lines and of course Bad gal Riri came out on top.
