New Versace Home collection

CAIRO – September 8, 2014-Gianni Versace has always been interested not only in fashion, but also design and art, such as theater, dance, painting and sculpture.

The Home collection was eventually a natural extension of Versace’s interest. She started with a textile collection in 1992, and in 1994 produced full home products.

Versace Home is introducing this year three new lines at the Salone del Mobile 2017. The three lines are Le Jardin de Versace, the sleek VM11 range and the iconic new Shadov.

Le Jardin de Versace is expressed as a dream come to life. It is a romance of nature in sumptuous vivid color, centered by a bold butterfly motif and surrounded by golden baroque swirls and flowers. Butterflies fluttering across the design like they were in a garden. Ladybugs and honeybees add to the decoration that is a vision of curves, with no straight lines. Shades of blue and touches of pink match with accents of gold and cool grey, giving an air of noble aristocracy.

The Collection VM11 is actually the address of the Versace Boutique in Milan. The collection contains living and dining. It is defined by its neutral shades of black and white, with bold shapes and contrasts in material, along with the signature Medusa silhouette often cast in moonstone.

Finally, the third collection is Shadov. The Shadov chair will be available in wood, as well as in a variety of leather finishes and colors, such as revolution red, armée green, cool grey and cloud, held on sharply modernist powder-coated metal legs.
