Egypt to Cooperate with China in tourism field

Cairo - 5 Sep 2017: Head of the domestic tourism at the Egyptian Tourism Authority Adel El Masry asserted the keenness of the Tourism Ministry on attracting Chinese tourists as China is one of the promising tourism markets.

Al Masry's statements came in a speech on behalf of the Tourism Minister at the inauguration of the tourism forum with China in Ningxia province in China, as the authority represents the Egyptian side in the forum.

He said that the positive cooperation between Egypt and China in the tourism domain was reflected on the increase in the number of the Chinese tourists to Egypt in the first half of the current year.

Number of agreements and cooperation protocols in the field of exchanging experiences and information technology will be signed with the Chinese side, Al Masry added.

He noted that there are negotiations about launching and increasing a number of the flights between Egypt and China, adding that the ministry and the authority provided facilities to the Chinese market.

He also pointed that the authority participates at China-Arab States Expo. 2017 according to President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi directives to enhance Egypt's chances in investment, tourism and trade.
