New ambassador of Italy in Cairo

CAIRO – 17 August 2017: The return of the Italian ambassador to Cairo supports tourism between the two countries.

The Italian foreign minister informed his Egyptian counterpart, Sameh Shoukry, that Giampaolo Cantini is the new ambassador of Italy in Cairo.

"The return of the Italian ambassador to Cairo supports tourism between the two countries. It increases the chances of tourism to Egypt after the cooling off occurred," Said Mohamed Sayyad, a tourism expert and member of
the Tourism Promotion Authority.

The absence of the ambassador affected the flow of tourism. This step will help tourism nourish, wishing to increase the trust of the Italian Citizens in Egypt.
