Azza Fahmy jewelry and costumes in ‘The Mountain’

CAIRO – 16 August 2017: Moataz Mohamed Nasr Eldin the owner of Darb 1718 and contemporary artist has been selected to be featured in the 57th edition of the La Biennale Di Venezia International Art Exhibition among thousands of international artists in The Venice Biennale 2017 exhibition.

His short film entitled ‘The Mountain’ that will be showcased at the exhibition illustrates the Egyptian pavilion and follows Zein, a girl who leaves her rural village at the foot of a mountain in Upper Egypt. The costumes were created by none-then the other leading Egyptian luxury jewelry house, Azza Fahmy.

Coupled with the casting of Fatma Ghali (as Zein), Azza Fahmy Managing Director in the starring role adds a certain amount of realness to the 12 minute piece of art.
