Uber is looking for a CEO

CAIRO – 8 August, 2017: We have all heard of the news that Uber is looking for a new CEO after the resignation of Travis Kalanick. The newest rumor is that Arianna Huffington is going to be replacing Kalanick as CEO.

Huffington was born in Athens, Greece, on July 15, 1950. She is a bestselling author and a highly influential business woman, she is also the Co-founder of the Huffington post that was launched back in 2005 with Kenneth Lere and became the online portals editor-in-chief. The Huffington which has been renamed 'the HuffPost' is now a part of AOL Holdings LLC.

Monica lee the head of communications at Thrive Global mentioned to the Guardian that “Arianna has zero interest in the CEO role and, in fact, the chair of the board search committee is fully engaged in finding the best CEO for Uber.”

Uber said that they are still looking for their CEO and they will announce the new title-holder early in September.
