CAIRO – 6 August 2017: Today is the birthday of the comedian Lucille Ball, and et is celebrating the occasion by reminding her fans of one of her inspiring quotes.
“One of the things I learned the hard way was that it does not pay to get discouraged. Keeping busy and making optimism a way of life can restore your faith in yourself,” said by Ball.
Ball was born on August 6, 1911, and she passed away on April 26, 1989. She started as a fashion model in 1928 and she changed her stage name into Diane Belmont. In 1933 she went to Hollywood to pursue her career in acting. Her most known movies are ‘The Three Musketeers’ (1935), ‘Stage Door’ (1937), ‘Room Service’ (1938), ‘Too Many Girls’ (1940) and ‘The Big Street’ (1942).
