the tigress with her cubs – Egypt Today
CAIRO – 31 July 2017: The Giza Zoo just welcomed the three most adorable new members of the zoo’s family when a Bengali tigress gave birth to three cubs.
The tigress was originally confiscated from an illegal farm and was bred in the Giza Zoo.
Dr. Mohamed Ragaii, the Undersecretary of State for Egyptian Zoos and Wildlife Conservation, assigned a team of veterinarians to do periodical follow-up checks for the tigress and the three newly born cubs, who are just over one month old, after specifying a special place for the mother, isolating her, doing all sorts of medical tests and procedures, and providing her with all the food and medicine she needs.
