GiGi Hadid wears Semsem

CAIRO – 30 July 2017: Gigi Hadid was spotted wearing an Egyptian designer pants; Semsem pants. The pants are from the 2018 collection, which is available in stores now.



Hadid is a Victoria Secret model; she was born on April 23, 1995. She started her career in modeling at the age of 2, but she stopped modeling when she was young to focus on her education. She was the face of Guess clothing in 2012.

Semsem is owned by Abeer al-Otaiba who was raised in Alexandria, Egypt before moving to Dubai to build her career in engineering; Otaiba now lives in the United States where her fashion label Semsem is based. The mission statement for her brand is "support and invest in women and children’s well-being around the world."

As a part of Semsem’s mission is to support organizations dedicated to gender equality, literacy, health, legal awareness, and education among women and children across the globe.
