Photo of the Day: Pigeon tower pots

CAIRO - 27 July 2017: Pigeon towers are made of all natural earthy material, with the hands of locals, and ancient knowledge.

Here we can see the building blocks of the towers made from pure mud as well as the pots used by pigeons to lay their eggs at.

At the background we show the oven, of which those mud pots are put in to gain their strength and resistance against water.

You may feel the ancient life popping out of this picture really.
