As humans, we are often on the run. it’s part of our nature. We love the feeling of chasing our goals and ambitions till we actually see them coming true. Someone is chasing love, another is chasing fame and fortune and some just chase happiness in all its forms.
While it’s beautiful to know what’s worth chasing—what can consume our time and efforts, what will spark a flame in our hearts—it’s also important to recognize that there are things that can actually hold us back. In our constant quest for more, we may sometimes overlook what truly deserves our pursuit. So if you’re constantly running, this is just a small reminder to reflect on what is actually worth going after and what’s not.

The Past
The harsh truth is there’s always going to be an end to everything in life and we must accept that we simply cannot change what has been. It’s okay to be nostalgic for better simpler days but constantly trying to find glimpses of your past will eventually hold you back from your future. Use your past as a motive, as a way to remind yourself how far you've gone instead of dwelling on it.

The “Right Time”
“We’ll get together when the time is right”, “I’ll focus on my dreams when the time is right” all these phrases and many more are all seen as excuses or a way of procrastinating because there’s no such thing as the right timing. Time doesn't wait on anybody and life will always be unpredictable so use your time wisely.

Perfectionism
No matter how great you preformed at that one job, or how much you sacrifice in your relationship, perfection will forever be difficult to grasp. The constant pursuit of perfection can drain your energy, cloud your sense of self-worth, and prevent you from enjoying the journey. Remember that nobody is perfect, and each person is only trying to be the best they can possibly be, so be easy on yourself.

Approval from Others
Chasing people’s validation is like running endlessly on a loop. Accept the fact that not everyone can be pleased with who you are, and that's okay. The more you seek external approval, the less you’ll appreciate your own worth. True self-acceptance comes when you stop measuring your value based on other people's standards and views.
