Here’s an inevitable fact about life: it will go downhill sometimes. You will feel frustrated, angry, confused and scared all at once. There will come a time where you’ll be alone literally and figuratively. But sometimes, such a phase may be exactly what you need without you even realizing. 
 
You'll find yourself staring into the mirror of your soul, reflecting on the choices, circumstances, and events that brought you here in this moment, the moment where you finally face a stronger version of you, a person you never realized was there the whole time reaching out their hand for you to hold.  So dear reader, if you're facing a hard time, read this with an open mind and heart.
 
It Will Eventually Get Better
After every storm there is a calm, and just like storms, tough moments that we face during life can be overwhelming but they will always pass. The skies will eventually clear just like your path. You'll feel stuck at times but that’s when the change is happening beneath the surface, you'll be quietly growing, gaining strength and wisdom. You'll look back at the time where everything was falling apart, and find out that it’s exactly what you needed, to get back on your feet.
 
You’ll Feel Grateful
Yes, you read it right. All these hard experiences have given you lessons no books nor classes will ever teach. Once this chapter is closed, you'll feel a sense of gratitude for all those hardships you've been through, because they shaped who you are today, and taught you pure resilience thus making you feel emotionally stronger. You'll understand that life doesn't always go our way, and even if it didn't you'll learn to accept it.
 
Don't Fight Your Feelings
This is a tough one for some, but escaping certain feelings will only make things worse. Yes, it's natural to want to push away difficult emotions and some even think it's the solution but this will leave you feeling too overwhelmed in the long run. Process each emotion you're feeling, feel everything with no shame. Sit with your emotions and embrace whatever you're feeling, by doing that you'll take the weight off your shoulder and acknowledge that it's all part of your healing process.
