Summertime is all about lying on the beach, chilling, and having the time of your life. However, nothing ruins a perfect summer day quite like waking up to frizzy, uneven hair the next day and we blame humidity for it. Longing for those perfectly styled frizz-free locks? We got you! Here are some of the best tips that will help you tame frizzy hair and keep your hair in place all day long.

1. Use leave-in treatments
One of the main reasons why your hair gets frizzy is because of the lack of moisture. Using leave-in treatments and hair masks that contain argan, olive or coconut oil can help by time reduce frizz. It’s best to use them two to three times a week to get faster results.

2. Invest in a silk pillowcase
You may be surprised, but a silk pillowcase can actually lessen frizz overnight. Silk will reduce friction and will help your hair retain your hair’s moisture thus not drying it out in the morning.
Make sure to tie your hair in a bun or a braid to help it stay in place overnight.

3. Use hair mists that contain SPF
While we all love how our hair lightens in color during summer, but it’s also a sign of sun damage. Exposing your hair to the sun for a long period of time without using SPF protection will lead to dry, frizzy hair. Invest in hair mists that contain at least SPF 15 to avoid sun damage.

4. Avoid over-washing your hair
We feel your struggle, although the summer heat may make you want to wash your hair every day, it's important to hold back on over-shampooing and allow your hair to rest instead of over stripping it from its natural oils which are essential for keeping your hair healthy and luscious.
