Resuming flights from the Polish capital falls within the framework of efforts of the Civil Aviation Ministry to stimulate the inbound tourism coming from Europe to Egypt's tourist destinations.
The plane was carrying 121 passengers who were welcomed by the public relations employees at the airport.
Flowers, chocolates, souvenirs and travel guidebooks were distributed to the passengers upon their arrival at the airport.
During the current summer season, Marsa Matrouh International Airport is expected to receive large numbers of tourist delegations, who will be arriving on board of up to 25 flights weekly.
The flights will be coming from Italy, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Bulgaria.
