CAIRO - 30 April 2024: Large flow of tourists are witnessed at the Karnak Temples in Luxor, as the weather condition improves and a gradual decrease in temperatures is being felt, following a heat wave that struck the governorate over the past week.
 
The Luxor Temples and the Karnak Temples in the center of Luxor city are witnessing a state of distinctive tourist demand, many groups come from around the world to enjoy the ancient Egyptian civilization during the day at the temples.

Tourist visiting Luxor receive great support from the officials in the temples, and tours and excursions are organized in the morning and evening to enjoy the most prominent tourist and archaeological trips in the city.

Among the most prominent places that tourists visit in Luxor are the Karnak Temples visits during the morning, which is the largest house of worship in the history of mankind, according to Salah Al-Masakh, director of the Karnak Temples.
 
It was built on the Nile Corniche in Luxor, and it was called the “Karnak Temples” because it includes 11 temples inside it. Its name was in the ancient Egyptian civilization, the temples of (Amun-Ra-Segem-Naht), where it was built to be a house of worship for the sacred Thebes trinity, and this trinity consists of the god “Amun,” his wife “Mut,” and their son, the god “Khun Su.”
