CAIRO - 14 October 2023: Sharm El Sheikh International Airport received the first AEGEAN Airlines flight arriving from Athens Airport with 82 passengers on board.
The airport received the flight by imitating water spraying and offering souvenirs to the passengers by the airport’s public relations team, with all the necessary facilities and a quick completion of their arrival procedures.
Sharm El-Sheikh International Airport is scheduled to receive a weekly flight from Aegean Airlines, coming from the Greek capital, Athens.
This comes within the framework of the directives of Lieutenant General Mohamed Abbas Helmy, Minister of Civil Aviation, to all Egyptian airports regarding the necessity of fully preparing to receive the new winter season, providing all facilities, and improving the level of service provided. For passengers, especially facilitating the travel and arrival of tourist groups in a civilized manner that befits the status of Egypt.
