Creative Summit Festival 2023 Wrapped up at Cairo Business Park

Creative Summit, the first and only creative platform in Egypt and the Middle East, wrapped up its Annual Festival for 2023 under the theme of “Driving the Creative Economy to Lead the Way Out”. Held on September 24 and 25, the event took place at Cairo Business Park, east Cairo’s innovation and entrepreneurship hub developed by Misr Italia Properties, the hosting partner of the festival for the second year in a row.

Creative Summit Annual Festival aims to provide a dedicated platform to promote the creative economy and support youth in various fields. Being a great opportunity to exchange experiences, ideas, and opinions, the annual event hosts diversified activities including workshops and discussion panels in various fields including technology, content creation, art, fashion, sustainability, and marketing to name a few. This year’s annual festival hosted several workshops and in-depth discussions about future-proofing businesses during a recession, how to grow your business, how can leading global companies and startups thrive in downtimes as well as useful tools for women to help them in business. 
 
The annual festival hosted renowned speakers from England, USA, the Netherlands, Belgium, UAE, KSA, Qatar, and Egypt as well as exhibitors from a variety of global companies, creative and media entities, startups and an elite group of global and regional experts. Among the distinguished participants were Ahmed Kouchouk, Vice Minister of Finance for Fiscal Policies and Institutional Reforms, who participated through a recorded message; Dr. Nabil Kochak, CEO and Board Member of the Saudi Venture Capital (SVC); Rodger Werkhoven, Independent Creative Director at OpenAI; Eng. Mohamed Hany El Assal, CEO and Managing Director of Misr Italia Properties (MIP), Eng. Mohamed Khaled El Assal, CEO of Misr Italia Properties (MIP); Shadi Kandil, General Manager of Global Business Solutions at TikTok for the Middle East, Africa, Turkey, and Pakistan; Film Director Yahya Ismail and the “Rivo” series team; Mark Wyllie, CEO of Beyti Egypt; Tareq Kamel, Chairman and CEO of Nestlé Egypt and Sudan; Dave Hughes, Country Managing Director of L'Oreal Egypt; and Malak El Baba, Country Manager of Visa Egypt.

For the past 9 years, Creative Summit has played an important and effective role in enriching creative thinking in Egypt and the Middle East, since it started as a platform in 2014, by offering a platform that brings together leading experts and speakers in the field and provides training and content to shape the future of the creative economy and helping all groups of students and CEOs of major companies to share experiences, inspiring stories and creative ideas that have been transformed into projects on the ground to help them develop their business and promote creative thinking with a view to creating a platform for communication and education.
 
Cairo Business Park is MIP’s flagship administrative development located in New Cairo with investments amounting to EGP 7 billion. Covering an area of 78,000 m2, and consisting of 42 cutting-edge administrative buildings, the project is considered the first center of innovation and entrepreneurship in East Cairo.
