Stemming from its utmost credo that value is always added through art, ALDAU Development, for the second consecutive year, celebrates the ALDAU International Art Festival (AIAF) in Hurghada, bringing together over 35 jaw-dropping, talented artists from different countries, namely United Kingdom, Italy, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Spain, Austria, Yemen, Ethiopia, Bahrain, Tunis, Sudan, Nigeria and Egypt, with the aim of allowing them to work side by side at Red Sea’s ALDAU Art Promenade. The festival won’t only serve as promising opportunity to showcase iconic art, but will also help artists and attendees engage in a cross-cultural dialogue.
Held under the auspices of the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism & Antiquities, together with the Red Sea Governorate, this ten-day artistic and cultural festival kicked of on September 22nd and will last until October 1st, 2023.
"The purpose behind curating AIAF is to invite artists to Hurghada and allow them to join hands to further create artworks, exchange experiences, and explore novel and innovative ideas, in the hope of establishing an environment supportive of the cross-cultural dialogue among them." Said Malak Shenouda – Head of Arts at ALDAU Development.
Head of Marketing – Mayada Abdelmotteleb added: by organizing this mega festival, we are really looking forward to positioning AIAF as the main event that will make Hurghada an artistic destination and ALDAU Art Promenade a cultural hub, given the fact that ALDAU Development continues to contribute to the prominence of art and culture through continuous initiatives.”
It is also noteworthy that AIAF is embracing a ground-breaking itinerary that features art workshops, enlightening talks, and a captivating art exhibition, all topped off with an opening ceremony that will dazzle everyone in the audience.
