In pics: Sculptors from Egypt, worldwide participate in Aswan International Sculpture Symposium

CAIRO - 9 March 2023: A number of artists from Egypt and different countries around the world have brought to life sculpture works on granite stone of Aswan governorate, in southern Egypt. 

 

Aswan International Sculpture Symposium is annually held in Aswan governorate, after it was founded by the late artist Adam Hanin. 

 

The ancient history of the Symposium places it at the top of the most important artistic forums in the East, as the Symposium was the second stop in the history of modern sculpture in Egypt. After the return of the soul to him again at the hands of the Egyptian sculptor Pharaoh, the leading international artist, Mahmoud Mukhtar.

 

In the 27th session of the Aswan Symposium this year, about 17 artists from Egypt and various countries of the world participated in pioneering works of art that highlight cultures and arts from all over the world.
