ADD Art, a subsidiary of ALDAU Development participates in Egypt’s 1st curated art fair ‘Art Cairo’ at the Grand Egyptian Museum.

The first of its kind in the local art scene, ADD Art, the recently established art entity by ALDAU Development, participated in Egypt’s first curated art fair “Art Cairo” which is took place from 11-14 February 2023 at Egypt’s new cultural wonder - the Grand Egyptian Museum. 

 

ADD Art exhibited a selection of artworks from ALDAU Development’s corporate art collection, among a variety of other entities showcasing art from the region. Artworks that were displayed at ADD Art’s booth are by contemporary Egyptian artists: Hazem el Mestikawy, Ibrahim Khattab, Mohamed el Masry, Mostafa Rabie, Noha Nagui, Fatma Abo Doma & Omar Senada. 

 

The exhibition was organized under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities represented by the Egyptian Tourism Authority. Over 100 artists from Egypt and the Arab region, representing 25 galleries, participated in the exhibition this year – the number of visitors reached about 12,000. 

 

One of ADD Art’s main missions is to build a strong corporate art collection, through the acquisition of contemporary Egyptian artworks. ALDAU Development believes in the value of this asset and looks forward to further growing its collection, while striving to make it available to the public through its participation in similar events.
