Google maps new wheelchair feature

CAIRO – 17 July 2017: People with wheelchairs sometimes need to know if the restaurant or business buildings have wheelchair accessibility or not. Therefore, Google maps add a new feature that places on the map accessibility of wheelchairs.

People will be able to add more information to the place from google maps on android. The information will be also accessible through google maps in the accessibility section of location description. This platform only works on android now and Google has not announced when it will release it for desktop and iOS.

This new feature that google maps added helps people with disabilities to know if they will be able to use their wheelchair or not.
