CAIRO – 15 July 2017: Sri Lanka, an island nation south of India, just made a great example of itself, giving many other countries hope. After struggling internally with civil conflicts between government troops and the Tamil Tiger rebels for a long time, Sri Lanka finally stood firmly on its feet and changed its course in 2009. With reformations and real effort, the country has become one of Asia’s most important travel destinations.
Formerly known as Ceylon, Sri Lanka is a great travel destination for so many reasons, such as its diverse scenery, between forests, astonishing tea fields, beaches and the remaining ruins of a 2,000-year-old civilization.
