Cycling marathon on Friday in Cairo

CAIRO – 14 July 2017: The Cairo National day and the 150th anniversary of the establishment of Khedival Cairo have been going on since the first of July. Hence the Cairo governor Atef Abdel Hamid is organizing a cycling marathon in Cairo on Friday to Celebrate both of Cairo National day and the 150th anniversary of the establishment of Khedival Cairo.

The marathon is organized by the governor in coordination with the Directorate of Youth and Sports and the General Administration of Cairo Traffic. The marathon will start from Abdeen Square and go through the streets of Khedival Cairo and then back to the field to introduce the importance of Khedival Cairo and the need to preserve it.

The governor has invited all citizens of Cairo to participate in the marathon, which will begin at 7 a.m.
