CAIRO – 7 May 2022: The city of Hurghada includes a number of museums and attractions, which receive visitors on daily basis.
Among those museums is the “Hurghada Museum,” which was opened in the heart of the city two years ago.
Hurghada Museum
located south of Hurghada near the Tourist's Promenade and Hurghada International Airport, the Hurghada Museum considered the first antiquities museum in the Red Sea Governorate.
The entry ticket is L.E. 80 for the Egyptian, L.E. 40 pounds for students and L.E. 200 for foreigners. The museum hosts more than 2,000 artifacts from various Coptic, Islamic, Pharaonic and Roman eras.
Marine Biology Museum "Grand Aquarium"
Considered one of the major projects in Hurghada, including a large group of marine creatures, and is the first of its kind in the MENA region.
It provides the idea of communicating with and identifying marine organisms, and it has a large collection of dolphins, sharks and various marine creatures.
The Grand Aquarium includes 22 of the largest aquariums in the world in size, with a 22-meter-long glass tunnel. It is located on the village road near Magawish, and the entry ticket ranges from L.E. 350 to 500 per person.
Sand Museum in Hurghada
It is located south of the city of Hurghada in the Red Sea Governorate, specifically in the Tourist Villages area, and includes 42 sand sculptures of legendary figures from the modern and ancient times representing most of the world's civilizations, including models of the Seven Wonders of the World.
The Sand Museum is one of the unique museums of its kind in the Middle East and Africa, and it is located on the map of tourist attractions in Hurghada.
Entry tickets range from L.E. 100 to 150 per person.
Mini Egypt park
The mini Egypt park is a tourist attraction that includes miniatures of Egypt's landmarks from the pyramids, the Sphinx and the Cairo Tower. It is located in the Makadi area, south of Hurghada. It is considered one of the most important tourist attractions where it is possible to see all the landmarks of Egypt in small models.

Dolphin shows in Makadi
One can visit the Dolphin House in Makadi and watch dolphin shows and games in the Makadi area, south of Hurghada, in a fun atmosphere, especially for children.
