CAIRO – 13 July 2017: Watermelon is known for being the signature fruit of summer, and what better way for restaurants to celebrate summer than to have a menu full of watermelon-infused dishes.
The Nile-Ritz Carlton Cairo culinary team managed to cook up the most perfect Michelin star-deserving watermelon menu that our taste buds have ever tasted.
The exclusive tasting tour began by the pool with some cool frozen watermelon slush.
For dinner, we were treated by Chef Carmine to a menu that was full of modern Italian watermelon-infused dishes at the two Michelin star-managed Italian restaurant Vivo.
While maintaining that Italian flare, he balanced a hearty, healthy, nutritious menu that was full of sweet and savory flavors. It included a homemade watermelon sorbet, burrata, watermelon and cucumber soup and a mouthwatering watermelon tart.
