CAIRO – 13 July 2017: Tony Ward teased his Fall-Winter 2017 collection at l’Oratoire du Louvre in Paris on July 3.
Using a blend of geometric and floral patterns, Ward created soft “hand crafted” designs with bold color tones including blue and burgundy.
After carefully studying the outlines of various flowers, Ward recreated these intricacies on silk to produce gorgeous high-end designs.
The Lebanese-Italian designer studied at the Fédération Française de la Couture at the age of 18. He then worked for infamous designers, including Claude Montana at Lanvin, Gianfranco Ferré at Dior and then Karl Lagerfeld at Chloé for 7 years before starting his own fashion empire.
Tony Ward presented his first collection ‘Eden’ at Couture Fashion Shows in Rome in 2004. His collection stole the eyes of the press and celebrities effortlessly kick starting his career. Ward was honored as Fashion Designer of the Year at the "L’Ago D’Oro" (Golden Needle) awards in 2007.
