In pics: Hot air balloons decorate Luxor skies carrying dozens of tourists Saturday

CAIRO – 1 January 2021: Skies of Luxor governorate, in Upper Egypt, were decorated with hot air balloons on Saturday.  

Operated in West Luxor, air balloon flights are among the  most important adventure trips in the world, especially with Luxor being one of the most famous global cities in this field due to its warm atmosphere and extensive preparations.

The city also has a special airport prepared for balloons take off, with all companies operating the flights are committed to civil aviation safety and security instructions.

Dozens of tourists enjoyed the hot air balloon trips especially as the weather improved Saturday, following declined temperature degrees, accompanied by rainfall and snow in some areas across the country.

Around 40 flights were operated by 16 companies in the governorate.
