Marriott's Mango Festival
After the great Marriott hotels success of the strawberry festival earlier this year, Marriott hotels in Egypt chose to celebrate another culinary fruit, The Mango, the summer favorite fruit.
On the 18th of August Marriott hotels in Cairo joined together at Sheraton Cairo hotel to kick of the Mango Festival that will continue in all participating Marriott hotels in Cairo for one month. In a great culinary celebration around the pool, the hotels joined forces to bring culinary experts from various regions and backgrounds to take guests and visitors through a creative innovative food and beverage menu that is all about Mango.
The celebration offered different kinds of delights, mango samples, mango dishes and cocktails created by master chefs combining both sweet and savory items. Guests and invitees list included press, local media, life style influencers, food bloggers, in addition to General Managers and Food & Beverage Directors of all participating marriott hotels.
The kickoff event took place around the pool area displaying hotels booths showcasing different menus, samples and cocktails from around the globe. Each hotel prepared a beautiful colorful mango display demonstrating creativity, enthusiasm and involvement in designing unique items for guests to sample and embrace all the nutrition values the product had to offer. The invitees enjoyed the beats of the DJ and live Saxophonist while and savoring the unique Mango samples, creating the best summer vibes
Ashraf Michelle, The General Manager of the Sheraton Cairo Hotel, started the event by welcoming all guests, media, BonVoy members and the mango festival main Sponsor (El Nour Company) and thanked all participating hotels, JW Marriott, Cairo Marriott, Westin Katamya Dunes, Le Meridien Cairo Airport, Renaissance Cairo.
Michelle encouraged everyone to enjoy their time and try each and every Hotel menu to get the best experience.
