CAIRO – 13 August 2021: Governor of Marsa Matrouh Maj. Gen. Khaled Shuaib announced that the governorate received Friday a charter flight carrying 173 tourists.
This brings the total number of flights received since the beginning of the summer tourist season to 14 tourist plane flights, including one from Romania and 13 other flights from Kazakhstan, with a total of 1980 tourists.
Tourists were received by airport employees offering them flowers, and distributing brochures and tourist maps.
It is noteworthy that the Matrouh Governorate has been blessed by a number of tourism types, such as trips, safari, medical tourism, recreational and archaeological tourism, and others, which attract foreign and Arab tourists, in addition to domestic tourism to enjoy the world-renowned beaches of Ajeba, Cleopatra and other white sands and turquoise waters.
