7th Sheikh Zayed City’s Book Fair to be held on April 1 - 12

CAIRO – 10 March 2021: From April 1 to 12, Sheikh Zayed City is preparing to host the seventh Book Fair, which will be held at Zayed Entrance 2 under the patronage of Prime Minister Mustafa Madbouly, Minister of Culture Inas Abdel Dayem, Minister of Housing and Urban Communities Asim el-Gazzar, Governor of Giza Ahmed Rashid and the Egyptian Publishers Association.

The fair is organized by the Zayed Foundation for Creativity and Development, headed by Adel Lotfy.

According to Mahmoud Abdel Nabi, the book fair’s manager, the seventh edition of the book fair will be held under strict precautionary measures, where large corridors between the wings and ventilation outlets every 15 meters have been established, while face-masks and sterilizing material will be provided for all visitors.

Abdel Nabi said in press statements that there will be publications from numerous Egyptian publishing houses, including the General Egyptian Book Organization, Dar el-Shorouk, Egyptian-Lebanese Publishing House, among others.
