‘The Future of the Urban Heritage of Cairo’ symposium to be held in Egypt’s SCC on March 10

CAIRO – 10 March 2021: The Translation Committee and the Committee for Plastic Arts and Architecture of the Supreme Council of Culture will organize a seminar entitled "The Future of the Urban Heritage of Cairo" in the Council’s Main Hall On March 10 at 6 p.m.

The symposium includes a presentation and discussion of a number of Arabic translations of some historical works which dealt with Cairo, some of which were issued by the National Center for Translation headed by Karma Sami and the General Egyptian Book Organization headed by Haitham Ali, while others were issued by a number of private publishing houses.

The symposium will be moderated by Rapporteur of the Translation Committee Anwar Mogheeth and Rapporteur of the Plastic Arts and Architecture Committee Dalila el-Kerdani.
