CAIRO – 3 March 2021: On March 3, many important events that changed the world map took place.


 

Important world events:-
 

1857 - Second Opium War breaks out: Britain and France start war on China.

 

1861 - Alexander II of Russia signs the Manifesto of Emancipation of Slaves.

 

1875 - A game of ice hockey is organized for the first time ever in closed halls, in Montreal, Canada.

 

1956 - The Egyptian election law, in which women are granted the right to vote for the first time, is issued.

 

2014 - Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences awards “12 Years of Slavery” the Academy Award as Best Film, Matthew McConaughey as Best Actor, and Cate Blanchett as Best Actress.
