Minya Culture Palace resumes leather workshop activities

CAIRO – 18 February 2021: The Minya Culture Palace continues the activities of the leather workshop, designing portraits, and leather artworks, which are part of the activities of the “Industrialists of Egypt” initiative organized by the General Authority for Culture Palaces in Minya until February 28.

The workshop is held from Sunday to Wednesday every week, from 3 p.m. until 8 p.m. for the age group of 18 to 40 years.

The winning team at the end of the course gets a prize of LE 4000 as a contribution from the authority to start a small project. The initiative aims to preserve traditional crafts from disappearing, train a new generation to develop them, and help young people establish small projects.
