Heliopolis Association organizes trips to the Great Pyramids of Giza

CAIRO – 14 February 2021: On February 13, the Heliopolis Association, headed by Nabil Helmy, organized a recreational and educational visit to the pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Kerdasa Heritage Area, which was implemented by the Heliopolis Children's Library and the Child Center for Civilization and Creativity [The Children's Museum] of the association.

Helmy confirmed that these trips complement the educational role of the association, which it carries out in an entertaining manner to introduce Egyptians of different age groups to many different archaeological and tourist sites in various governorates of Egypt.

Helmy pointed out that the visit of students of various educational stages to the archaeological sites across Egypt is one of the important means of raising awareness, and solidifying belongingness by linking students to their country and its history.
