CNN Travel recommends Egypt as one of best tourist destinations amid Coronavirus pandemic

CAIRO – 10 February 2021: Within their “Unlocking the World” initiative launched for its readers about the recommended tourist destinations to visit amid the COVID-19 pandemic, CNN Travel chose Egypt as one of these destinations  along with a number of other countries.

CNN Travel reviewed in a report published under the title "Traveling to Egypt during Covid-19: What You Need to Know Before You Go" all what a tourist should be acquainted with about Egypt before traveling in terms of travel advice given by the Egyptian government and the precautionary measures and health safety controls applied in hotel and tourist establishments, museums and archaeological sites, noting the strictness and seriousness of applying these measures.

It also reviewed various tourist destinations in Egypt, noting that Egypt is rich in many tourist and archaeological assets, including the Giza pyramids, unique museums and luxury tourist resorts.

In addition to that, the report shed light on Egypt’s various diving sites in the Red Sea  which is among the best in the world and its sunny beaches with clear blue waters.

It also published a number of links highlighting details of tourist destinations in Egypt.

It is worth noting that CNN Travel had chosen Egypt among the 21 best safe tourist destinations to travel to in 2021, and the British Telegraph newspaper chose Egypt as the best tourist destination that can be traveled to after the closure of the UK is lifted.

Also,  “Trip Advisor” chose the city of Alexandria as one of the best popular tourist destinations in the world for the year 2021.

Trip Advisor had previously chosen Cairo and Hurghada among the best tourist destinations in 2020 as well.
